Part three
I have chosen La Main (Les Remords de Conscience) by Salvador Dali. I found out about the artist by using dogfunk. He specialized in surrealist painting, but he also sculpted and photographed. Here is a link to my paintinghttp://z.about.com/d/arthistory/1/0/h/i/dali_moma_0708_07.jpg. I think there is a lot of hidden symbolism in this painting, such as the banana the dead man is sitting on top of may symbolize that he was responsible for his own death. Dali's most famous painting is called "the persistence of memory" and it is currently at the museum of modern art in New York. Here is a link to an online gallery of all his paintings, photographs, and sculptures; http://www.virtualdali.com/#gallerySurreal2.

How would you describe surrealism, in your own words? What drew you to this piece by Dali? You are AMAZING!
